We don't skate - We run: Broomball is simlar to ice hockey, however you don't have to learn to skate, as broomball involves running onthe ice. ........................... New Duty Points Penalty Rule
1) All teams must provide two umpires in games they are responsible for duty. a) If a team does not provide two umpires they will be penalised two competition points (equal to one win).
2) All teams must provide at least one representative to sit on the tech bench and adequately carry out the required duties of this position for games they are responsible for duty. a) If a team does not provide a representative to sit on the tech bench they will be penalised two competition points (equal to one win).
3) All umpires must wear helmets whilst on the ice. a) If an umpire is not wearing a helmet then the team responsible for the duty will be penalised one competition point (equal to one draw).
